  And don't even get me started on interacting with, GASP, the opposite sex.

  i found this article to be quite ironic!

  i had to endure this at the kh today and wondered if everyone would like to have fun picking the mind control and other nonsense out of this lesson.

  This article was just a fluffed up sales meeting/push; it wasn't focused on staying awake spiritually, it was centered on staying alert to pushing the WTBT$ cult, their message and the litter-a-turd.

  Pretty much what I got out of it was:

  A- staying awake means you continually push WTBT$ crap

  B- be alert to ways to move product and sell upgrades

  C- if at first you don't succeed, don't give up, keep hounding your prospects until they give in

  D- don't slack off (get drowsy), maintain alertness by looking for new ways to get product into peoples hands

  This thing read like a sleazy salesman’s handbook.

  I don't think witlesses stop to consider something so simple as, wild animals stink!

  When my dog rolls in shit I don't wan to get near him let alone pet him; so even though the lions may be "tame", I sure as hell don't wanna be anywhere near one.

  Maybe that will be one of jayhoovers miraculous blessings, in the noo system everything will smell like roses.

  Scans of WT vs. bound volume: Paul saying work finished "by end of 20th century" changed to "in our time"

  hello, looking for the actual scans.... i have looked through the search function here on jwn but can't find the actual scans of the magazine that states something like: "paul said that this preaching work will be finished by the end of the 20th century" and then scans of the bound volume of that same issue where the wording is changed to something like: "paul said that the preaching work will be finished in our day".

  there are the direct quotes available in the jwn search but i'd really like to have the actual scans of the pages.. does anyone have the pdfs that they could post?.

  my jw mom was ripping on the mormons for changing their doctrine in printed word the other day... so this would be interesting to have on hand if she brings stuff like that up again.. thanks!.

  i've been intellectually awake for about three years now.

  it's taken me time but i've figured out an exit strategy to leave the jw's as frictionless as possible.

  it's impossible to leave with my dignity in tact but, leaving will be worth it.
